Fault with ph20

Hi , Purchased an Apera ph20 this week , on the main screen it comes up r 1.0 can anyone tell me what this means please .

I believe that this is just a "software version number" that shows when the meter is turned on.  It is in no way an error message or a fault with the meter. It momentarily displays on the LCD when you turn the meter on before it goes into the measurement mode. I hope that this helps.

I have same issue and cannot clear this reading on the machine. Did you find a solution? Thank you.
When I attempt to calibrate in the 7.0 solution the meter reads 5.3 and doesn’t move up nor down.
Hi eugene I have the same problem any ideas ?
Same thing with me. Can't calibrate my ph20, shows 5.3 in 7.0 bottle and 5.1 in 4.0 bottle. Shows er1 and smiling face
