My Value (PH) meter will not calibrate the 4PH liquid and shows a 4 then a 10, and gives me err1 when I short press to end calibration - is it serviceable? It did great for 7 months but now it's broke. I need it badly - my plants do.
Which is your most robust unit for simple PH testing?
I loved the meter - I'm gutted it's dead.

I've had good luck with the PH20. Using the solutions and frequent calibration is key. I stepped up to the PH60 this year with ok results, it had some calibration issues, customer service helped alot and is sending me a new one. I still think the PH20 is a solid buy.
I'm shopping for my next meter now. Its going to be a bench top set up with soil and water testing. I'm not sure if ill stick with Apera or try a new company. I'll update and review new bench top when purchased.

Surprised nobody answered. Buy the PH20 meter. It is accurate, and with care will last a long time. I have had two, (after breaking one by accident), and loved them. Both were great out of the box and easy to use.
